Overview

A sculpture constructed of fiberglass and PVC, with an engineered metal frame. The size is 19' x 16' x 11'.
Engineered and constructed for permanent exterior or interior installation.
The sculpture consists of archetypal forms found in a maritime community, a classically styled boat hull
and dock pilings, rearranged into a Constructivist sculptural composition.
The name ‘Mariner’s Gate’ refers to it’s proposed purpose as a landmark for the entrance of a waterway.
A monument to people who make their lives on and by the water.
