Overview

Malvern PA borough hired Promiseland Murals to create a mural celebrating the era in which the town was founded. Working closely with local historians, Promiseland Murals came up with three designs in which the whole town voted on to choose a winner. This online design voting process increased the sense of ownership of the residents in the final concept, and created strong town pride.

Goals

The function of this Mural was to educate the public of local history and beautify and revitalize the area. it also began a mural walking tour in Malvern Pa. in which the local business saw an increase in foot traffic in their stores.

Process

We collaborated with the borough managers, art associations, townspeople via online voting, building owners, and local historians to create a one of a kind mural.
