Overview
We have been here for 300 years and I wanted my fleur to reflect this fact. The shells were provided by the Arts Council and were decorated by teams.
Goals
I picked the sunflower as a center because of Louis XIV, the Sun King. The colors are pulled from Versaille.
Process
John Zeringue, John Guillot and myself worked on this project. I did the initial sketches for approval, John Guillot sprayed the base so the paint would stick and I sprayed clear coat after it was finished. John Zeringue and I both worked on the painting of the fleur until he got his own.
Additional Information
The Fleur-de-Lis project still owns my fleur and it is still for sale as far as I know.
