Overview
Young woman meditating, at one with the universe.
Goals
The site is a secluded, serene garden. The client wanted an outdoor sculpture that would reflect and belong in this special space.
Process
The client specifically wanted a human figure, and we discussed how such a figure might express and emphasize the mood of the garden. We both felt that a meditating figure integrated with the plant life would be the solution. The use of the lotus flower was the obvious conclusion.
