Overview
Lightspan is the first interactive light work in the collection of Memphis, Tennessee. A network of LED light fixtures dynamically change color to register people’s actions on a 220-foot pedestrian bridge. Person tracking is accomplished with 27 sensors places at 8-foot intervals.
Goals
To activate and to create a safe, well-lit and visible interactive experience in a new downtown park.

Electroland worked with several representatives of the city to deliver the exciting experience they deisred for their downtown.
