Overview

This collaboration is between glass artist Dierk Van Keppel and lighting designer Bill Thomas. This work is a digital combination of the physical properties of glass combined with specialized lighting effects.

Goals

Thomas Van Keppel have been working on developing special effects for the film industry; through their discoveries they sought a cohesive resolution to their findings. Resulting in this beta platform.

Process

Mary Arendes of Wonder Wall Studio discovered the process that Thomas Van Keppel were utilizing while on location. Ms. Arendes proposed to Thomas Van Keppel the initiation of a beta platform to further the initial discoveries.
