Client: Clackamus County Municipal Center

Overview

One hundred feet of metal dances along the 20-foot high screen wall at the Clackamus County Municipal Center. May & Watkins created this public art installation to soften the industrial grid, and to animate the area with an attractive design based on the colors and shapes of the surrounding bio-swale.

Goals

Our project was part of a revitalization of an area of the office park that had been a wasteland of scrub plants and housing for maintenance vehicles. Our task was to create a backdrop of color and form so that this area could host an attractive farmer’s market.
