Overview
Designed and Sculpted a Life Size Bronze Police Officer for a Police Memorial Park. Lakeland Police Department commissioned ART Design Group to design, using their official Police Uniform, Hat and Patches for a Memorial Park to all the Fallen Officers.
Goals
The Lakeland Police Department's goal was to have a Police Officer representing the Honor Guard, in a new memorial park for their residence. The officer was designed to wear the Uniform as they wear today which was very important to the overall design
Process
Artist Becky Ault designed and sculpted a traditional clay sculpture of the Officer. Once the sculpting was completed she collaborated with ART Research Enterprises, Inc. to take the clay from Mold to Bronze Casting with a traditional patina and polychrome painted finish. She also collaborated with the Lakeland Police Department for the installation of the sculpture at the Lakeland Memorial Park.
