Overview
The project a metaphor of important of education, the power of knowledge and how is can be the stepping stone that open door for many opportunities. materials used is steel metal , the design on it are abstract figures cut out in perforating styles. THE WORDS kNOWLEDGE was also translates into 100 plus langusges and cut out in perforated on the body of the sculpture. The sculpture take the shape of a PENCIL. Finishing was powder coated and iside LED was installed powered by solar panels.
Final dimension of the sculpture is 127 x 24 x 24 inches.
Goals
The sculpture is to serve as tools of inspiration to youth and old that knowledge is imporetant , we should all seek it any way , anywhere we can find it. There is no end to learning . The work was installed at the entrance of Pflugerville Public Library, City of Pflugerville Texas.
