KNEE DEEP
Exploring the threshold of human and divine, I use thin oil wash juxtaposed with thick impasto oil paint then carve, draw, etch my mark into the wet paint. This fusion of wet and dry media, willow charcoal and paint engages the viewer in the art experience of discovering the marks we make as humans in a divine life.
Goals
Knee Deep is an ongoing project- a collection of paintings originally started from a triptych, and expending to additional polyptych and satellite works.
