Overview
“Supergrass” Interior panel sculpture, “Praying Hands” exterior figurative sculpture. Interior sculpture is installed within a water feature, and is intended to give the appearance of Kelp, or Sea grass. 32 feet high X 8 feet X 1 foot.
Goals
The challenge for the interior sculpture was to create a dramatic effect within an unusual size requirement. The exterior sculpture was designed and created to have a welcoming, healing energy.
Process
The artist worked with an art consultant and a committee in the design aspect of the works. The artist also worked with a local fabrication firm in the creation and installation of the pieces.
