Client: Private Residence

Overview

To design, fabricate, and install, approximately 100 square feet of leaded glass for a Private Residence at the Jersey Shore.

Goals

The main intent was to create a visually dynamic experience between the interior entry area stair well, through the three floor levels, the neighborhood, and the street. Additionally it was important to have the glass read on the exterior in the daytime.

Process

This was an intimate process between the architect, the owners, the artist, and WRW Studio as fabricators and installers. Design review meetings were held at the house during its construction and the glass installation undertaken when the home was essentially complete.
