Overview
A free form suspended collage of individual, free form, steam bent wood elements in four color schemes spanning a 9'x18' area
Goals
The client desired a random, free form suspended bent wood sculpture in four designated wood tones as an inspiring centerpiece for the residential community space for the broad flat ceiling that was the "canvas" for the sweeping free forms without pattern or repetition.
Process
I was selected for this project for Renee's use of bent wood in large scale wall and suspended compositions. The clients selected the colors, offered Renee free licence to create the convoluted, yet separately suspended forms comprising the full array.
Additional Information
Renee delivered and installed the entire array to save costs.
