Overview

This project, an interactive light sculpture, was intended as a model for a larger implementation.

Goals

The client wanted to have a large light sculpture that allowed passer-bys to cause the sculpture to change. If they stopped and waved their hands around it, the "orb" would further change color at a higher rate.

Process

There was limited interaction as I was given free reign. I came up with the idea and worked out the necessary computer design (which is inside the base of the sculpture itself).
