Overview
A sample group of sculptures inspired by elements in nature: strong winds, the fluttering of a bird, paths of falling leaves, exuberant flowers, blades of grass twisting up from the soil, and the earliest shoots of spring. These represent designs in stainless steel that can be upscaled.
Goals
The shared goal of these sculptures was to illustrate the concept of humanity in harmony with the rest of nature by placement within landscapes of artworks that celebrated life.
Process
I worked directly with clients in most cases, and with designers and engineers on others. I have been able to build artworks within any site constraints to the complete satisfaction of my clients.
Additional Information
The theme of humanity in harmony with the rest of nature has been a constant in my work since I created an undersea sculpture in The Bahamas early in my career. The quoted artwork budget represents a total for the works as originally scaled.
