Overview
The viewer is encouraged to interact and create sound by spinning the mast, accessible by all. Once the piece is in motion the three elements spin and “gong” each other to produce the sound. “Idiophone”- a musical instrument which vibrates to produce a sound when struck. Several different sculptures were proposed in different materials and sizes. The city was able to pick which best suited their vision for the location.
