Overview
The client approached Indiewalls in New York about a piece for a lobby renovation and were interested in our work. After sending a sample piece, creating mockups and drawings, the clients and consultants visited our representing gallery Amy Simon Fine Art in Westport, CT to view a wide variety of our work. The finished piece is a triptych, total size 48×94″, handworded aluminum with textural oil painting on wood.
Goals
The client was looking for artwork to match an urban/industrial remodel. Our work with its mixture of materials was a perfect fit for the aesthetic and added a personal, and organic touch with the abstracted Hudson River reference.
Process
This project incorporated a lot of communication, sharing images, sending artwork samples and a gallery visit.
Additional Information
The finished piece is visible from the street (and High Line) in New York City.
