Overview
The Hotel Drover is a five-star boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Ft. Worth Stockyards. This 5 guitar permanent installation is located in the lobby of the hotel and has become a prominent hot spot for instagram photos of guests that visit the hotel, as well as a backdrop for major events such as the WTA Finals and the Yellowstone premier.
Goals
The goal was to mimic the modern western vibe of the hotel using all the main elements of it's legendary inspiration - the cowboy boot, the cowboy hat, the longhorn, the pinup cowgirl, and the Hotel Drover Logo.
Process
It was an easy and simple process from start to finish. The interior designer of the hotel told me what elements they wanted on each guitar, and the color scheme that would best suite the space. I wanted to create something that had a western vibe with a modern and high end flair.
