Overview
“Truth” represents the balancing and measuring of what is fact and what is fiction. The abstracted figures are made of cast bronze in a limited edition of 5. The piece sits measures a little over seven feet wide by three feet deep and 5 feet tall.
Goals
Hopper Hollow park was designed for the enjoyment of citizens of all ages. Within the park are two play grounds and a walking path. The parks and recreation coordinator wanted to include a sculpture in a quieter section of the park for people to sit and enjoy. "Truth" was a perfect fit for the location.
Process
For this location, the city of Wheat Ridge, CO contacted me with a request for large sculptures that were already cast and ready to install. I worked with their arts coordinator on choosing the right sculpture for the location based on aesthetics, durability and safety. I also helped the landscape designer and installation crew with the design of the large pedestal and final install of this piece.
