Overview
The theme is based upon the poem of Emily Dickinson “Hope is the thing with feathers”. The 10ft wide mural consists of porcelain tiles, cut with waterjet technology by “Creative Edge”.
Goals
The goal of the art work was to create "a warm sense of welcome " and "hope" to the residents of the homeless shelter.
Process
The mural was donated by a private resident. Great collaboration with Central Iowa Shelter and Services in Des Moines, IA
