Pictured: Stage backdrop for Hill Country DC. A stage backdrop was also created for Hill CountryNY. Each backdrop is about 10′ x 27′ and 20′ x 27′
This project was conceived by the architect. I was hired to create a take on the Texas flag because the restaurants serve bbq and have Texas themes.
The architect was instrumental in providing me with a chart to create the star in the correct proportions.
Much of the decor in the restaurant is recycled in some way. I used repurposed jeans bought at thrift stores and bandannas to create each backdrop. Every band that plays on the stage autographs the white areas of the backdrop.
