Overview
10 foot interactive aluminum sculpture that you can walk through or sit down underneath it is the newest works from Pinellas Park artist Clayton Swartz. His specialty is taking raw aluminum and turning it into to vibrant inspirational sculptures. This sculpture will leave you filled with joy, hope, love, and peace. This landmark sculpture was created for the City of Largo, Florida and is located in Largo Central Park. This sculpture is made of aluminum and is painted with vibrant colors and coated with an automotive finish for a long lasting lustrous shine. The sculpture dimensions are 10’h x 13’w x 3’d.
Goals
The goal was to create a landmark sculpture that people would visit and take photographs with. The sculpture will inspire people to live their best life. The city sold pavers around the sculpture that are engraved with messages or names which allows the community to become part of the public art project. This also offset the cost by allowing the city to raise funds to pay for the sculpture.
Process
The City of Largo commissioned the artist to create the sculpture.
