Overview
Harvest was created for the City of Palm Desert’s “El Paseo Invitational Sculpture Exhibition.” El Paseo is a high-end shopping district in the heart of Palm Desert, CA. The work is 8′ tall, bronze on a powder-coted steel base.
Goals
The El Paseo Sculpture Invitational includes 18 sculptures place in the median along a mile-long portion of El Paseo. The "Invitational" has become a destination for tourists, and City of Palm Desert provides tours of the sculptures.
Process
Bollinger Atelier of Tempe, AZ cast the work in bronze. It was originally sculpted in glass in my studio, followed by a small limited edition bronze version.
Additional Information
Harvest is inspired by my time spent working in the fields as a child.
