Overview
Added to the museum collection in late 2014. This steel sculpture hangs in the lobby of the top museum in Ecuador. Dimensions are 7' x 7' x 4'
Goals
The museum was looking for a significant sculpture to add to their most public space. As a stand-alone piece, we were looking for a large presence showcasing locally available materials.
Process
We discussed lighting, location, and installation technique. The museum was not finished when the piece was delivered, so I placed my trust in their art handlers. Due to our extensive discussion, the piece was hung beautifully.
