Overview

Microscopic bio-organisms studied in BioMarin’s laboratory inspired the laser-cut design of the wall’s surface. The 200-foot Corten steel wall was treated with a hot patina application, creating additional random organic patterns on the wall’s surface. The cellular shapes enliven the surface of the sculpture while adding a layer of content with a direct connection to the mission of the company.
