Client: Western Theological Seminary

Overview

Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI commissioned me to create a sculpture would reflect the ethos of the school.
Standing 15′ x 7.4′ x 7.4′ and made from 316L stainless steel and cardboard honeycomb epoxied between the large layers then a double walled cap is welded on the edge. This process creates extreme structural stength.

Goals

To create a sculpture that would reflect the ethos of the seminary.
