Overview
Four panel wall sculpture created for Texas Rangers baseball’s new stadium in Arlington, Texas The Globe Life Stadium. Each panel is 48″ wide x 36″ tall with a 3″ space in between for a total width of 201″. The artwork is composed of thousands of wood sticks 1/2″ and 3/4″ in square diameter, mounted on marine plywood forming various patterns.
Goals
The goal was to create artwork within the space assigned using the color pallet as described by the Texas Rangers baseball team.
Process
The collaboration process was fairly simple between artist, the Rangers representative and the Rangers business office. Once the art was sketched, it was sent to the Rangers, through their representative for approval. Once the project was completed, arrangements were again made to install.
