this is not a specific project but some examples of a method. Glass as a relief sculpted medium. Here are a few examples. Positive and negative relief sculptures. What do I mean by that? Either the image is sunken in behind the glass or it is projected in the front of the glass.


As stated above, this is a method that could be integrated into various situations internal or external, coloured or clear glass, transparent or opaque.


The process on a large scale needs to be made in association with a larger glass studio. The essential equipment is a fusing kiln and the facilities to cast the moulds.I have worked both with Bullseye Glass and Derix Glasstudios for this kind of work. The first example of this method I was commissioned to make was the Glenmorangie Project as a project shown here.
