A private portrait commission realized in cast bronze for facade ornamentation of 3000 square foot Brooklyn townhouse.
The scale and proportions of the sculpture were matched to the specified position on the facade crowning a vehicle entrance.
Working with the principal a master was created from which a mold, then wax was taken for the bronze casting. The bronze was finished with a traditional 'antique' patina.
The master for this work was achieved through the modification of the plaster master for the life size marble carving FRANK il partigano.
