Overview
“To learn” also means “form”. Form, like learning, but also like taking shape. Like a geological formation, the circles are composed of strata representing different school subjects, forming the core of knowledge; the school as the central core of education. A more elementary geometric shape becomes more complex symbolizing time, progress and evolution. The route tells us that even if sometimes the road and the learning experience may seem a bit confusing, the student, with a little effort and perseverance, will gradually learn to dissect this mishmash; To use multiple paths to shape and start one’s path to knowledge.
The work is entirely made of aluminum and painted with electrostatic paint. The big part has been mirror polished.
Goals
The Goals was to create a dialogue between two wall sculptures for a school (12-17 years old).
