Overview
The graphics were designed by artist Blair Cahill. ADF used digital embroidery technology to produce this series of banners measuring 22" x 216".
Process
ADF worked with Cahill to transform her graphic designs into fields of varying color and stitch density. Cahill wanted to create an ethereal and captivating use of embroidery on crinoline that would present a stark contrast to the dilapidated structures of Governor's Island for the Governor's Island 2015 art fair.
