Overview
This art installation attempts to provide children with the opportunity to feel the joy and serenity which is imbued in all of us when surrounded by nature. Positive visual distractions with possibilities for new discoveries abound and tactile experiences are provided so they may touch and caress some of the sculpted creatures – thereby giving them a sense of engagement with the natural world which can have therapeutic results. The sculptures present depictions of protection, comfort and nurturing and represent species of animals which are endangered or threatened.
