Overview

‘Everything Is Connected” is a 30×32 watercolor painting on 300 lb archival watercolor paper. It was framed inxa simple black frame with a white mat. The painting was commissioned by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Graduate Counseling Program through a competitive grant process. Klebesadel’s proposal was selected through an open call for artists to complete wall art for the Counseling Center’s waiting room.

Goals

The commissioned work was intended for display in an existing space.

Process

Helen Klebesadel submitted a written proposal to an open call for submissions. The proposal included sample images of existing artworks introducing her work with a description of proposed artworks of klebesadel's vision for meeting the project goals. Once selected as the project artist, Helen met with Program staff and toured the site where the intended work would be installed. Once selected there was a four-month window for the creation of the final artwork. Upon completion the painting was framed and delivered to the University for installation.
