Overview
Entanglements produce fluxes of lights in a volumetric interlaced 3D printed sculpture, representing the volumetric shape of a DNA storing the code of life.
Goals
The goal was to create an interactive 3D printed sculpture composed by 250 3D printed nodes and acrylic tubes with LEDs inside. The idea was to create two bodies that intersect and form a vortex volume that will create illusion of circulation of lights using LEDs.
Additional Information
The work was comissioned by VIVID 2021 and HANGAR. Team: Architects Oana Taut, Rodrigo Waihiwe and Ivan Marchuk.
