Overview

Klip Collective transformed the Fashion District pedestrian bridge into a site-specific, immersive light passage. Sweeping light washes and deconstructed, pixel-mapped video patterns to create a dynamic portal of articulated light. This piece can be enjoyed experientially from within the tunnel, or visually from the sidewalk below. The use of color and motion through light evokes emotion and transforms our sense of place.

Goals

The goal of the project was to transform the existing pedestrian bridge with a site-specific installation, painting the pedestrian bridge with light and movement, to create a beacon to be seen from afar.
