Overview

This work is a suspended spiral mobile sculpture with digitally collaged imagery to form silhouettes of sports and entertainment legends. Each figure is in action against a background of a related element from nature. Photographic imagery, Starphire glass and steel are engineered to support and balance each other, like the teams inside the new arena.

Goals

The Elements installation provides a striking and inspirational welcome to guests of the sports arena. It provides a visual focal point for the large lobby and allows light to move around the space.

Process

All of the imagery and concept work is the creation of the artist. Special engineers facilitated the fabrication of the glass sheets and steel supporting components.
