Overview
In Madison, WI, artist Jonathan Brown created a 120ft x15ft mural on the outdoor face of a notable, 10 story building in the middle of the city, titled “Electric Waterfall”. Composed within the mural is nearly 500 LED nodes, embedded in the ground are 25 LED strips and 15 theatrical spot lights. All color changing, all working in tandem. The mural simulates a massive waterfall with a “splash pond” awning of glass and steel at the base. While the lighting echos falling water, in addition to color changing which shift based on the seasons and odes to local events.
