Client: Three Corners at Vero Beach (Public Consortium In Progress)

Overview

With the decommissioning of a local power plant and water tanks, there is discussion about how to best use these structures. How about another parking lot?

Through adaptive reuse, my visualizations propose a kind of parade/drive-thru as a working prototype of future year-round use of the surrounding area. This would include a youth program and artist residency. Currently in city-approval process, the hope is to kick-off the first parade in late spring 2021.

Goals

To re-envision the area with the local community and create a living outdoor (and eventually indoor) gallery that is sustainable for the environment and the local economy.
