Overview

El Tigre is built on a 2022 Ford hybrid chassis with a custom 12″ lift, it has a translucent fiberglass body, D&B sound system, factory turbo charged engine, hand-laid/hand sewn tiger fur, a 30’ articulating crane for a tail, and all the bells and whistles that an awesome white tiger art car deserves. This car is 35’ long, 15’ wide, and weighs in around 6 tons.

Goals

Feral Studio envisioned El Tigre, the White Tiger Art Car, as a mobile masterpiece merging art, innovation, and interactive experiences. The crane, cleverly fashioned as a tail, served dual roles: hosting aerial performers for captivating acts and supporting a colossal disco ball, infusing vibrant displays of light. The dedicated dancer floor fostered spontaneous movement, blending artistry with motion. Integrated refrigerators added function and whimsy, a surprising touch to the unconventional canvas. Thermal night vision surround cameras ensured safety and showcased a fusion of art and technology for nighttime travels. And the playful addition of a bubble-blowing butthole epitomized Feral Studio's desire to challenge norms and inject joy into unexpected places. El Tigre aimed to redefine art's boundaries, inviting engagement and sparking imagination wherever its wheels turned.
