3 modern totems, each 18' tall, welcoming you to the downtown business district of Seattle. Forged and Fabricated Stainless Steel
Located at the site of the main air vent for the Light Rail Tunnel under Capitol Hill, these sculptures stand above the freeway, the city and bay behind them, and are a modern interpretation of native art.
The artist developed the pieces thru collaboration with building architects, landscape architects, Sound Transit personnel, and the City of Seattle.
Wire frame drawings in stainless steel, these pieces are light and transparent, but solid and strong. Made using blacksmithing techniques and modern tools.
