Overview
Commissioned for the National Cable Television Center and Museum, this entrance sculpture was inspired by the futuristic technology of the Cable and Broadband industry.
Goals
A landmark feature for the entrance to the Cable Center, this 24ā tall sculpture is made of aluminum and fiberglass. With referential forms and a futuristic attitude, the sculpture pays homage to Cable technology while celebrating its formal abstraction. This design of this abstract sculpture was inspired by āearth stationsā, the giant satellite dish uplinks for international Cable system.
