Overview

These three child sculptures were created for the Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Driscoll in Corpus Cristi, Texas. They are near the entrance to the building and stand as a joyous landmark. I was inspired by the imagination and joy in children. The three children are holding acrylic, hand-painted balloons.

Goals

My goal for this piece was to create an energetic and fun piece that would capture the imagination of the young patients as they enter the hospital.
