The sculpture was actually designed and fabricated in 2012 and was donated to SUNY Fredonia. It is part of the University’s permanent collection. Eric Stein is an Alumnus of SUNY Fredonia.
Goal was to express a cutting action and movement of the 'pixel' teeth.
Cutter was fabricated in ny NY studio. It was originally displayed in a professional outdoor sculpture exhibition at the East River State Park in Brooklyn, NY. The sculpture was also selected and exhibited at SUNY Oswego for their Sculpture Exhibit from 2014 - 2016 before permanently being instated at SUNY Fredonia as part of the university's permanent collection.
