Overview
A cubic empty space inscribed in a circle. The circle symbolizes the divine, the infinite, and the cube symbolizes the manifest, the material world. Monumental sculpture built with painted and welded carbon steel plates. Diameter: 12 meters. Weight: 86 tons.
Goals
The mayor of the city of Sorocaba wanted a monumental sculpture in order to transform a park - Parque das Águas - into a tourist spot.
Process
Jaraguá heavy industries built and donated this sculpture to the city of Sorocaba. The project idealized by the artist was transformed into an engineer executive project.
