Client: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Overview

The Cosmopolitan Hotel came to us with the concept of producing iconic pieces of art that visitors could interact with. Claes Oldenburg had his iconic typewriter eraser across the street and it set the stage for taking big iconic art to the whole area. The artist immediately thought of the shoes because he had been doing them in smaller versions and the response was magical. They did’t want to do just a shoe, they wanted an experience that was the essence of shoes.
