Overview
This is a mirror that was placed over an existing mirror. We used the old mirror and frame as a cleat for the new design. It is made of crushed glass and resin.
Goals
There was a large mirror in place that had a dark brown frame and did not go with the over all design that the designer was trying to accomplish. The mirror was glued and bolted to the wall. We designed a new frame to go over the existing one to minimize damage to the wall.
Process
The designer wanted the bring red into this area. I designed this frame to accomplish that and also play off the coral sconces and shell chandelier.
Additional Information
The frame is 5 x 4 feet with a 6 inch face.
