Design, fabricate, install and hand tooled art for two copper bars, one tall other short for the remodel of 100 year old original Stock Exchange building, now Saloon and restaurant. Together both bars totaling approximately 150 sq. ft.
Being in an old copper mining town it seemed appropriate to choose copper. I wanted no edges no seams. I rounded corners with two 30 degree bends instead of 90 degree corners. During first consultation I noticed original ceiling tins stacked in a bath tub so I integrated these into the design as the front face in keeping the integrity of this historical building.
My guys at Fast Arch Of America in Phoenix came down to measure as difficult bends and cuts need to be perfect. Sean did all the fabrication and install, it took 3 visits. Great communication and keeping deadlines even with last minute construction changes.
