Overview

A community based mural, on the side of the local Community Civic center, aimed to uplift the whole neighborhood by giving ownership to the locals of it. To achieve this, more than 20 persons from the community where included in it, and have them as the subject of the mural itself.

Goals

To beautify the area, to give hope and a smile to the youth of a community that struggles within itself and with other local community to improve its image. Lastly, to make feel the youth as they are worth and they all have a bright future ahead of them.

Process

Talking and meeting with local leaders and members of the community, and getting to meet and know the local youth, I created a design that would inspire them, that they would enjoy, with a modern approach.
