Overview
Two large paintings were commissioned based on an older painting for display in a lobby area of MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Goals
The project required a large (48"x60") mulitple panel painting, based on an older work. It featured several other similarly sized abstract paintings by three artists, to be hung in a lobby area.
Process
The project was coordinated by Darnell Fine Art in Santa Fe, NM along with American Art resources (the designer.) The idea for the work was conveyed to me by referencing an older painting; I needed to meet certain size and color specifications to meet the needs of the designer.
Additional Information
The designer was very pleased with the results and contacted me again in 2014 for a second commission.
