Goals
ColorPlay reflects the joy and vitality of people coming together to create and celebrate community. The figures evoke the timeless traditions of people joined together across generations in work and play. Multicolored glass symbolizes diversity and the array of life’s challenges and opportunities for growth.
Process
ColorPlay was selected in a competition hosted by the Coral Springs, Florida, Arts Commission as a Gateway entry sculpture into the city. Canneto Studios collaborated with the Coral Springs Art Commission on the final design, and with the City's Development and Maintenance Departments on the installation.
